Sat Oct 15 – Nicer Action Cards
I started working on a better-looking Action Card. I standardized on the 2.5″ x 3.5″ size made popular by Magic The Gathering and emulated widely by other games. Like most such cards, I put the cost in the upper left corner. Next to that I put the phase in which the card may be played. The title and flavor text are below that, then the actual working of the card. The tags are in a separate box at the bottom. On a suggestion from Braden, I made each phase a different color. This should help players organize their hand of cards more easily.
Took all day to transcribe the printed cards with my various scribbled adjustments into the new format. I ordered a variety of thicker card stock to print another set for play-testing.
