Mon Oct 31 – Board Versions
Over the weekend I tried several different looks on the game board. Here’s the basic outline of the Ministries, Phases, Years, and Scoring track:

My freelance artist worked from a rough idea of a theater stage, but that didn’t look good with the game components on top:

I tried filling each space on the board with a different image of a puppet on strings, but that looked too busy:

Next I tried a background of one large puppet with hands overhead, but that wasn’t quite the right look either:

Finally Braham and I worked together on a color scheme from the bottom to the top with a smaller puppet theater surrounding the Prime Minister:

This looks decent, but Braden thought the hands didn’t fit with the rest, so we’ll try some other ideas this week.
I also finished up the nicer rulebook, and need to locate a nearby printer to see what that looks like on 10″ x 10″ scale.
