The journey to create a board game from scratch is a long one. My buddy Tom and I were relaxing in his living room back in 2019 and the key concepts took shape. Within a few weeks we had some rules, some cards, and a hand-drawn board. Months went by with many iterations before we had something worthy of showing our friends. A round of playtesting refined everything. Then life took a turn when the pandemic hit, and this project was shelved.

Out of the blue in Fall 2022, my son called me to say he wanted to produce a board game using his knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain. I brushed the dust off, formed this company, hired an artist, and started learning about crowdsourcing. With fresh eyes I made significant improvements to the game and launched another round of playtesting. We intend to launch our KickStarter campaign in January 2023 and get Politico into patron hands before Christmas.
